How it is computed
Hyperliquid liquidates an isolated position when its equity falls to the maintenance margin: half the initial margin at the market's maximum leverage, stepped up for large positions by the market's margin tiers. This page applies the same formula, checked against the liquidation prices the exchange reports for live positions.
Fees and funding change a real position's margin over time, so its liquidation price moves. Cross-margin positions share the account's margin, so their liquidation price depends on everything else the account holds; this calculator does not cover them.
