Cohorts and analytics
Cohorts group tracked traders by account size and by all-time PnL, to show how each group is positioned. Analytics adds open interest, funding, liquidation levels and position changes across the market.
The cohorts
By account value: Small (under $10K), Medium ($10K–$100K), Large ($100K–$1M), Whale ($1M–$5M) and Apex ($5M and up). By all-time PnL: Rekt (below −$1M), Very Unprofitable (−$1M to −$100K), Unprofitable (−$100K to $0), Profitable ($0 to $100K), Very Profitable ($100K to $1M) and Extremely Profitable ($1M and up). A value on a boundary belongs to the cohort above. Only tracked traders are counted.
Sentiment
A cohort’s bias is its net exposure over its gross exposure: under 4% reads Neutral; then Slightly Bullish or Bearish up to 10%, Bullish or Bearish up to 30%, Very Bullish or Bearish up to 70%, and Extremely Bullish or Bearish beyond.
Cohort pages
/cohorts shows every cohort with a 7-day line of its long share, from the last snapshot in each four-hour slot; snapshots are taken about every 10 minutes. Each cohort’s own page has Positioning by market, Largest accounts and Long share over time (24H, 7D or 30D), over All time, 7D or 30D.
Analytics
Analytics has tabs for Open Interest, Funding, Price, Stress, Liquidations, Whale flows, Position changes and Cohorts.
Position changes lists what tracked traders added to and cut over 15m, 1h (the default), 4h, 24h or 7d. Liquidation clusters places the liquidation prices of tracked positions within 20% either side of the mark price, in 12 bands; Levels shows each band and Depth the running total, in dollars or coins. Both cover tracked traders only, not the whole exchange.
